This movie is equal parts Gaspar Noe and Mandy with a dash of David Lynch. Visually stunning adult horror. Begos knows how to draw from horror history and speaks in the language of what has come before, but does so in a new way. The acting is solid thought with the lead actress a standout of no-holds-barred performance. Highly recommended if you’re into mind-tripping body horror.

BLISS is a heavy metal apocalypse of creation and destruction. This is the kind of movie that reminds me how cool and effective filmmaking can be. That final painting is really something else. Absolutely amazing stuff. Seek this movie out and buckle up.
