Description

It’s Christmas Eve and Tori is spending it her preferred way, drinking with her friend Robbie at the local dive bar. Little do they know that the robot Santa from the local toy store has gone haywire, cutting a bloody path through their small town, and is coming straight for the two of them. As everyone around her falls victim to Santa’s axe, Tori must fight to make it through a night of pure terror.

  • Underrated B-horror

    Saw this on Christmas Day. I thought it was entertaining. Two things to note: 1) The grain is 100% intentional as it was shot on 16mm 2) it is a B-horror movie There are cursing, smoking, drinking and sex. That’s before the gore starts. I think it is easier to appreciate this if you were a child of the 1980’s or earlier.

    Terrible dialogue. No plot. The best thing to do is watch the last 10 minutes.

    Not that good at all from Joe. First 1/3 is way too long with dialog. Last 1/3 is way to long with Robb-Santa. Also interesting. A lot of 80’s movies had gender swap on this. We’d have the rocker guy and girl chasing after. 2022 we get the flip. It’s just dumb regardless of the genders.

    Gave it a try after all the rave reviews and I really wish I hadn’t. The first 30-40 minutes is 98% just the main characters being drunk and annoyingly obnoxious and that pretty much automatically killed my interest in the rest of the movie

    This movie was terrible. The gore was extremely corny. The girl was hot. That’s it. Rotten Tomatoes must be a bunch of morons.

    I’m seeing complaints about the “grainy” film and that alone tells you that those people don’t understand how some movie are filmed. I really enjoyed this film. Fun dialogue to begin the film and then the killing makes it more fun. Just a fun Christmas slasher film. I just would have toned down the fake snow a little bit.

    I was really looking forward to this, especially after Begos’ BLISS, but sadly Christmas Bloody Christmas lacked the ingenuity and inventiveness of that earlier film. This is a lo-fi Terminator carbon copy with sloppy action choreography and muddy visuals. I can’t recommend.
