Description

From writer/director Rob Zombie comes the strangest love story ever told. Lily is just your typical 150-year-old, lovelorn vampire looking for the man of her nightmares . . . that is until she lays eyes on Herman, a seven-foot-tall, green experiment with a heart of gold. It's love at first shock as these two ghouls fall fangs over feet in this crazy Transylvanian romance. Unfortunately, it's not all smooth sailing in the cemetery as Lily's father The Count has other plans for his beloved daughter's future, and they don't involve her bumbling beau Herman. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll howl at the moon as The Munsters make their way to Mockingbird Lane!

It’s embarrassing to watch. Perhaps this might finally end Zombie’s “film career”.

I’m not a big fan of the original Munsters but I liked this, the goofy humor and the art style of the film. This movie put me in a good mood 👍🏻😊👍🏻
  • Definitely a good Halloween movie

Enjoyed it so much I laughed so much at its silliness. Was definitely surprised Zombie changed it up from his usually films (which I do enjoy). This movie is definitely something I can enjoy with my kids and watch over and over again!!!

Beautiful movie, the color pallets alone are jaw droppingly beautiful. Not since The Love Witch have I been so impressed with the vibrancy of a movie! If you like camp and love The Munsters then you will have a blast. If you are a Zombie fan there is plenty for you as well, classic Rob principle actors are naturally here as well as his tip of the hat and love of film and filmmaking are all over this movie. I had a blast and was wearing the smile long after the credits had rolled. My kinda “feel good” movie.

Don’t buy. Go watch on Netflix if you can. Then you will see how dumb this movie is and thank me later for saving you from wasting money. It’s so bad you will feel embarrassed just by admitting that you even tried to watch it

My family and I love the original series so much that we (admittedly) really enjoyed this version of Rob Zombie. The Munsters (2022) has a mixture of parody and with a good tribute, the actors did a great job, and although many at first glance do not understand it, we believe that one day it could have a cult following. The cinematography was impressive for the cost of production, the amount of detail in the makeup design was very well done.
  • Really, really bad.

If I could give this movie no stars I would. Not funny at all and just plain old stupid. Some remakes are better off passed upon by Hollywood these days. This is one of them. I am huge Munsters fan (the series) and the movies they made like “Munster Go Home.” This movie needs to go back home where it came from and be sealed in a tomb. I watched it on Netflix in 5 segments because it was all I could take. I was hoping it would improve but it didn’t. Who approved this script? I will say that the makeup and sets were well done though. But that doesn’t make a movie worth watching. Sorry Mr. Zombie, just my opinion that seems to be shared after reading other reviews.
