Description

    The woke narrative of superimposing 1980’s/Cold War American military strategy onto a struggle for a humanity-centered apocalyptic scenario is so laughable that anyone with any understanding of history has to (if credibly intelligent) disregard it instantaneously as worthless, mindless, ridiculous, racist drivel in the name of….. …yeah…..

    Is this movie perfect? No, but it’s a fantastic ride and I enjoyed every second of it. Turn the lights down and the volume up, don’t overthink it, and have a great time watching this gem.

    I had read reviews on this. And was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this movie. The story is a bit of a slow burn. But the special effects are next level and top performances from everyone. I feel this is one that will take a watch or two to truly appreciate. But it’s well worth a watch.

    It's campy and even cringe-level mushy in parts. But, the story is great, the visuals are stunning, the characters are likeable and the little girl that plays Alphie is... so believable and genuine. The ending was a bit oddly disjointed and felt like parts of it were put there just to tug at your heart strings, but overall it still delivers. Great movie.
