Description

This nutty British comedy observes with jet black humor the myriad of outrageous calamities that befall an eccentric English clan with more than a few skeletons in its closets, when its patriarch dies an unexpected death. Soon, every complication imaginable - including the wrong corpse in the coffin, the accidental consumption of hallucinogenic drugs that causes uncontrollable exhibitionism, and the disclosure of the deceased's closeted kinky homosexuality - befall the grief-stricken mourners.

This is a hiralious film, worth seeing over and over again. It always makes me laugh as if it were the first time I'm watching it.

Trailer looked somewhat innocent and slapstick, but the actual film takes the premise of an after death "outing" of a gay father to offensive lengths. Binding and gagging the "diminutive" ex-lover who attempts to extort the grieving family at the funeral demonstrates incredible insensitivity. Further, the disabled and wheelchair bound "Uncle" is the subject of ridicule for his disability and problems surrounding needs to use the bathroom. The screenwriters and cast must not have any life experience which show them how NOT FUNNY this sort of thing is. Reminiscent of a bad Porky's genre.

This movie had us guffawing out loud the whole time. There's just something about it that keeps me coming back. It's irreverent, at times cliche and yes, very silly. But if you need a good laugh this should do the trick.

This movie is absolutely hilarious. I had been sitting on the floor while watching, and just so happens as I was going to stand-up a hilarious scene occurred, and I actually fell because I was laughing so hard I couldn't stand up. This was acted out SO well. An excellent comedy of errors. I think all ages will enjoy this comedy.

You should have just sticked to watching all the funny parts on the commercials because that's all the funny parts for the whole movie . But if you would like to waste your money you can .

This movie starts off a little slow but becomes one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. I have watched this movie ten times plus and it is just as funny to me now as the first time I saw it. It has some strong language and a little back nudity; but, I allowed my sixteen year old to watch without much guilt. This is a movie you will love or hate and I happen to love it.
