I just purchased the collection 1 & 2, but I was disappointed because they didn’t link to moviesanywhere to watch them on my TV! (I bought other movies from iTunes and they perfectly linked to moviesanywhere)

My love for this move is my secret shame. Don’t tell anyone, but it’s my favorite.
  • Steve Martin is NOT Inspector Clouseau

I watched this movie streaming online, and I could not get past the fact that Steve Martin is no Peter Sellers. So I tried a side-by-side comparison, as close as possible, with some of the Peter Sellers Pink Panther movies. Yes, Peter Sellers had the advantage of having invented the character in the movies, while Steve Martin had the enormous disadvantage of following in a giant's footsteps. But more specifically, Steve Martin's unnaturally pursed-lipped clown version of Clouseau missed the point that Peter Sellers mastered: At his best, he was the pompous, egotistical straight man to his own self-skewering jokes. The occasional clown that Peter Sellers played (e.g. in combat against Cato; wearing obvious disguises) was balanced against the uptight, straight-man idiot that he also played (e.g. berating a "blind" man on the street). He was a natural, as befits the man who created the character. In contrast, Steve Martin tries too hard and misses.

This film is truly awful, especially when compared to the original Blake Edwards / Peter Sellers film. Watch the original! Why do Apple not offer the original for sale?

I was trying to watch the movie, but it would not let me skip past 5:24 and each time I play it. The movie gets stuck there
