No Way Out

The story the acting and the movie are all very believable and plausible. Sound track was good as well the song "Say it" is actually timeless but cannot be found. Costner was excellent as was Sean Young. They had a definite chemistry and it came across well on the screen. Patton was far ahead of his time in his acting. A virtual unknown he almost stole the movie. Hackman always gives a credible and artistic performance. Like a virtuouso he just delivers time after time. The other actors lIke Fred Thompson and his sidekick were also quite good. Iman was gorgeous and her interaction with Patton was so on point. Costner brought it all home. This was an excellent movie. You will not be disappointed

A lot has happened in thirty years, so much so, that we live in a world barely recognizable to the one portrayed here. I found myself a little bored at times watching this. However, it all comes together at the end in a surprising and clever sort of way so as to make the whole experience enjoyable. Worth the ninety-nine cents spent.

I enjoyed this movie, very fascinating plot, and nice job by the actors. Not usually the greatest fan of Costner, but he did a very fine job. Not said as a prude, but I thought there were unnecessary raunchy scenes. I considered the very ending the weakest part of film, but I still would recommend it.

This is one of the best films of its genre - great story, great direction and acting, great cast, and with an interesting resolution. I own it on DVD and later purchased it on iTunes. I watch it every couple of years. Still good despite being from the eighties.

A fantastic spy thriller that relies on character and plot instead of car chases and exploding things. They don't make them like this anymore.

Great plot effectively done, with wonderful actors. And it’s got quite a few foreign language tracks available for listening practice and learning new vocabulary - so how about letting us buy it instead of merely rent??

A top-tier cold war spy film in which a career military man is assigned to track himself down. If you can't get past the 80s-ness of it, watch the 1948 film noir The Big Clock, based on the same story.

This one is a great 80's thriller with a paranoid and nerve wracking premise filled with twists. Costner is a likable hero in way over his head, Hackman is his usual excellent self but it's Patton who nearly steals the whole show. Ruthless, committed and slightly unhinged, it's amazing there wasn't a heap of trophies waiting for him during the award season. The icing on the cake is, just when you think the movie has played it's last hand, the very end features one more ingenious twist.
