I love Batman too, but in a sea of Batman Animated ovies, it was refreshing to see a new character get the spotlight. This is a really fantastic version of the Green Lantern story (and this story would have made a far better introduction than the live action green Lantern movie did). They get through the origin very quickly, then this film leaves Earth and takes our new Lantern (Hal Jordan) into a space adventure. Different worlds, aliens, and a mystery at the heart, Hal Jordan navigates the stars with great aniumation, fantastic action and a heck of a lot of fun! Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed this. It was well done and a great story-line. I'm looking forward to more Green Lantern movies or series.
  • What the 2011 movie should have been like.

And the ironic thing is, this came out two years before that movie. You owe yourself to watch this whether you're a GL fan or a sci-fi fan.

sigh... I just well... sigh. The big yellow power battery was flying around and shooting people(NERDRAGENERDRAGE). That should tell you all you need to know. I wanted it to be good, I really did! Im wearing a GREEN LANTERN t-shirt right now.

I rented this movie once, it was fantastic. It was a sincere blast. It was a decent introduction for someone not familiar with the Green Lantern, in my evaluation as someone not familiar with the Green Lantern beyond some of the 1980s Justice League cartoons. It is rather moronic to not sell HD, but to rent HD, after all this time. Give us the the HD to buy already!

I rented this for the kids I babysit and was given a rather nasty surprise: the language and bloody violence in it are ridiculous. This is stupid because what kind of superhero movie is made for adults? This is not cool.
