Description

The late Dwayne McDuffie (All-Star Superman, Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths) penned this epic story of heroism and betrayal based on the critically-acclaimed, best-selling Justice League graphic novel. Directed by Lauren Montgomery (Superman Doomsday, Green Lantern: First Flight) and produced by Emmy®-winning animation legend Bruce Timm, this apocalyptic tale details the nefarious plot of villain Vandal Savage, who discovers Batman's contingency plan to defeat the Justice League should any of them go rogue. Now, backed by his own army of supervillains, Savage sets out to take down the Justice League one hero at a time! Featuring Tim Daly, Kevin Conroy, Susan Eisenberg and Nathan Filion reprising their roles as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern respectively, this animated saga also features the voice work of Smallville's Michael Rosenbaum, Olivia d'Abo (Law & Order: Criminal Intent) and more.

It's a great film for ages 13+. I love it so much that I bought it. And you should too.

An element is introduced in act one of this movie that it is complete contradiction to an action taken at the end to save the world. From this point on I will spoil a point in the movie so stop if you haven’t seen it. In act one the Martian man Hunter is injured using a plasma weapon while intangible. At the end of the movie they turn the earth into a intangible earth like The Martian man Hunter power. If the Martian man Hunter can be injured while intangible by a plasma weapon then the earth would’ve been destroyed even though it was intangible by the device. What was coming towards the earth but plasma and magnetic radiation. Poorly written plot. Worst plot I’ve ever seen in a DC animated movie. This falls to being as bad as the live action to DC movies which is sad.
  • Need a contingency on writers

The idea of contingency plans on superheroes is an interesting storyline, but the way they saved the Earth was corny even for a cartoon. So far the dumbest DC animated films I've seen.

I love how it implies that Superman is, like, 1,000 x’s faster than the speed of light. Good movie none the less.

A completely rejuvenated movie, based on the Justice League, but mostly Batman which I love. By the way, I loved Bane in this movie

I have seen this movie a lot of times I have always liked pre 52 movies more then new 52. The voice actors are amazing and they kept the same people all their movies. New 52 movies are great, the sorry lines and awesome and super funny but pre 52 movies will always be the best. I recommend this movie to comic book lovers.
