Boy is this one of Steve Carrell’s funniest movies! Finally seeing this for the first time and I ugly laughed through the whole thing. Very few jokes fall flat, this is a winner in my book!!

Great leads but, bad concept. I think I only watched 5 minutes of it before I turned it off. I feel sorry for the guy who paid to see it in theaters.

This is the first time I’ve written a review- ever. This movie looked promising because of the acting, director and we know Paul and Steve have good chemistry on screen. Yea, don’t be fooled. This was one of the worst ‘comedies’ I’ve seen with these actors. It’s too over the top, with every joke feeling forced, and bad follow through of plot.

Is it even possible to give a zero rating? I have no idea why people like this movie. It's one of the worst I've ever seen. I actually broke up with my girlfriend at the time after I saw this.
  • You'd have to be a schmuck to like this movie

This is a remake of the French film "Le dîner de cons (The Dinner Game). Do yourself a HUGE favor and skip this version and watch the orignal. Much better, much wittier, much more entertaining. Skip this one, unless you want to be invited to dinner . . . .

We switched it off. In bad taste is one thing..just plain stupid is another.
  • Not PG-13, should be rated R

I don't know where the rating system has gone. If his movie were released in the 1980's, it would have been rated R. If you plan to watch this with a young teenager, be warned that it is quite inappropriate. We had to turn it off after 20 minutes. From what I saw, it was a bore anyway.
