Description

Academy Award® nominee Laurence Fishburne, Brenton Thwaites, Olivia Cooke and Beau Knapp star in this mind-bending and suspenseful sci-fi thriller. Nic (Thwaites), his girlfriend Haley (Cooke) and his buddy Jonah (Knapp) take an unexpected detour from an idyllic cross-country road trip when they are contacted by a mysterious hacker who has gained entry into MIT’s secured network. But after a rendezvous in an eerily remote area goes awry, Nic wakes to a living nightmare in an isolation unit. Interrogated by Dr. Wallace Damon (Fishburne), Nic soon realizes that the only way to decipher the past… is to escape the present.

This movie was such a waste of time. Even the plot twist was dull. No real plot, kind of scattered.

Nothing comprehensible. A fraud. Paint splattered on a wall is not art.

better than most, with a great twist, like the sentimental feel at the beginning and the end,, really good sci fi, not a classic, but definitely worth a rent

It's not like you think at all and that's what makes it good, also it leaves you thinking about it for days after. It's not the greatest movie I have ever seen but with all the crap from hollywood lately this was refreshing. I hope they make more of these as I kind of feel like there is more of a story to tell. I just hope they don't ruin it by making awful sequels.

...beyond any thing you have ever watched before. I have been a Science Fiction fan since birth, I love any and all facets of it. I thought I had seen, read and heard all there was to this genre...and then this movie came along. Every thing about this movie turned me inside out of my own head...the story line, the soundtrack, the actors...next freaking level.

I rarely write reviews but this movie really disappointed me; slow, action-less, attempting to fill the void with beautiful (albeit meaningless) shots of running, carival ride, etc. And it was predicable. I wanted to see something more clever.

Moves very slowly through a set of mysterious (but not exciting) twists with a confusing and not-so-interesting ending. Disappointing.
  • The plot makes no sense

Filming and acting were good (except that poor Jonah) but the intrigue went completely incoherent towards the end as if the director didn’t know where to go and how to end this. Wouldn’t buy this. Maybe worth a rent because the movie hooks you up for an hour but the longer the movie plays the sooner you want it to end...
  • Sci-Fi MUST SEE!!!

From beginning to end this movie will have you guessing...forget what everyone says about this film below. If you love sci fi movies, you will love this one. Great actors, mind blowing cinematography and a hell of an ending! Wish there was a second part to this!
