Adventure Time: Stakes!

I was wondering where I would find these episodes Marci’s backstory is sad yet beautiful she’s one of my favorite characters Everything Stays is absolutely tranquil

This Adventure Time miniseries gives us a little more information about Marceline and her vampire past. While I liked the format of each 11 minute episode focusing on her re-defeating each vampire nemesis from her past, it would have been nice to see more of her motivation and purpose for going on this quest beyond "they are evil and must be defeated". However, Olivia Olson, as Marceline, does a great job of expanding Marcie's emotional base and finally gets to do the most with her Marceline character since "I Remember You". The miniseries puts Finn and Jake into the background and focuses on Marcie and Bonnie Bubblegum (who seems to also have expanded her character depth since being dumped from the Candy Kingdom). Olson and Hynden Walch, who voices Bonnie, play well off each other and the end result is more than just simple "girl power". Overall, a great addition to the Adventure Time universe.

I love this! I love adventure time, if you do you, you would definitely love this too! I also love the song "Everything stays" please add song to ITunes store. I bought the season pass, and I am excited to watch the hopefully soon coming episodes! 👍👍👍👍👍

I loved this and it's format of her re-defeating each of her past enemies but in ways it was sad marceline again is a vampire and it would have been nice to see her work out a deal with the vampire king but she didn't and is now here till eternity

For me this all started with the Bonnie bubblegum and marceleine episode a few weeks ago (my favorite). I've watched this show since the onset, and well completely honest had no complaints at all. It is what it is. I was content. Most of these new episodes, to me, reflect a paradigm shift, for wonderous results. Simpsons and et al characters never age at all. To me every character in the series though not aging much, advanced to the next stage of being what it is to be a teen or a Post teen. Good trick when you core audience is doing the same. Smart move. It's stilled balanced enough for the secondary younger audience to get their giggles in. I watch tv all day long so I see these things. When I saw the first Bonnie and Marci episode I declared it "lightning in a bottle". Something I only state when I'm lucky to see something on its original air time:)
