  • Love It!! Season Two, Please!!

At first, I thought I wouldn't like Shear Genius because it was another one of those reality TV shows Bravo can't seem to stop popping out, but it's actually really good and really entertaining! I love Project Runway and Top Chef, and yes, Shear Genius is somewhat a cross between the two shows, but like Project Runway, you can visually enjoy (or hate!) the cuts the hair stylists make! For people who didn't like Shear Genius, I say give it another chance! I think the first season of almost every show is a bit bland...new characters, new developments, new directions, and inadequate funding.... no one knows what they're doing! (I thought Project Runway and Top Chef were definitely far more interesting and more innovative the second time around). But I think Shear Genius deserves a second chance! I would definitely watch this show again if they decided to cast people for Season Two!!
  • Sure it's a knock - off of Top Chef and Top Design...and Project Runway

Well, Bravo has a very creative team. I mean what's next? Top Teacher? Anyway, this season I did fall in love with Tyson on the show, and I enjoyed (to some extent) Dr. Boogie. I honestly hope they don't play this show again, because it sort of fell flat in the "exciting" department. Top Chef has got all you want, amazing judges, always incredible contestants, stunning foods and a great, original plot. Top Design, eh, it was okay, it had a good premise and judges. Shear Genius, as much as I love the tagline (Lather, Rinse, Compete) I think they didn't give the viewers enough time to really bond with the contestants on the show. I didn't get as worked up about Tyson getting booted off as I did when Marcel lost Top Chef. So, I'll give Bravo's idea team an A for effort, but I really hope they don't put this on again.

I really enjoyed watching this series. Each episode kept me interested not only for what was going to be happening with the hairstyles but also to keep up with the drama. I must say that I got a kick out of watching Tabatha and Tyson go at it. And watching Daisy's enthusiasm for hair kept me rooting for her all the way. No this show isn't perfect but what show is? If you're someone with a flare for fashion, beauty and art then you'll love this show. Shear Genius is definitely a cut above the rest!

I LOVE this show. But AGAIN! I tunes messes up uploading the finale show just like survivor. I Tunes ruined the last season of Suvivor for me, because before I realized that I had downloaded the reunion show, they spoke of the winner and it was ruined for me, RUINED! Now with this show, there are 2 links for #7 and 2 Links for #9. Where the &*%@! is #8, the finale? You know, the most IMPORTANT show of the whole season? My Gods I Tunes, fire the uploading staff!
