While tracking a band of Maquis rebels across the Badlands, the USS Voyager and her crew are pulled 70,000 light years across the galaxy into the Delta Quadrant. Stranded without a chance of rescue and with much of her crew dead, Captain Janeway joins forces with the Maquis and begins the long journey home. Determined to find friends and shortcuts wherever they can in this unexplored space, her crew must battle all-new alien dangers as well as shipboard conflicts — and keep their Starfleet ideals intact.

I have just finished watching all seven season of Star Trek Voyager. and found it to be the best of series, of all of the Star Trek series. I think the producers and writers of the series, I thank they outdone themselves. with outstanding visual arts, and the acting of all the characters. With the different plot and what may take place in the future I loved it. Please please continue to series.

It was this show, this season, episode "Cathexis" that officialy sold me on not only the show but all of Star Trek I would later watch because of my love for it. Fantastic show. I will mention that the only reason I'm leaving feedback is to draw some attention to this episode: "Cathexis". I've redownloaded it two or three times and each time there is an audio glitch that happened which shows me it's embedded in the file. It's at 15:05 right where the captain says "Are you certain about that?". Anyway, love the show. 5-Stars hands down.

I would purchase many tv series if Apple would create an auto-play feature when purchasing TV programming series. It is tedious having to manually start each episode. Seriously, auto play is not a new concept. AppleTV should have incorporated this from the beginning. Other TV box like RoKu do have this feature.

The writing and acting is atrocious. Star Trek has always had some degree of cheese but this is surreal. Stick with TNG and DS9.

Voyager is and always will be my favorite series. DS9 is my second, of course. Voyager is the story of how strangers came to see each other as family while trying to get back home. They were in an unmapped, uncharted, alien quadriant, with 70,000 lightyears to go. No other crew faced those odds. That is why anyone who truly loves Star Trek will love Voyager.
  • And trek and trek and trek...

Unfairly maligned by some Trekkies, Voyager is my third favorite of the ST franchise, after the original series and TNG. It's a distant third, but it beats Deep Space 9, my least fave, and the also unfairly maligned but still problematic Enterprise. Yes, it took most of the first two seasons to settle down and hit its groove, but all the spinoffs had achingly slow starts, and once it got up and running I'd say it was a pretty even mix of tolerable-to-good epsiodes and useless filler ones. On the good episodes the writing is solid, and the stories an interesting variety (as opposed to the more plodding and monotone DS9 and Enterprise). It's true the crew doesn't hold a candle to those in the original series or TNG, but there are high points: Captain Janeway, the doctor and, holy cow, Seven of Nine. I don't get Trekkie cultists who complain that Seven hijacked the show by the fourth season. Yes, and? That's a problem how? What percentage of the show's ratings do you think were directly attributable to her costume and the way she filled it? The deadpan sexpots -- Spock, Seven, Data and T'Pol -- are the most interesting characters in the whole franchise. Also, the production values, effects and sets on Voyager are topnotch for tv sci-fi. Still, I do advise skipping the first two seasons and going straight to season three.
  • Let's complete the voyage! Bring on TNG!

Okay, love Janeway, Chakotay and the Voyager crew, love Sisko and the space station, but... When is the TNG crew coming to iTunes?
