Description

Money. Security. Famous friends. Forgiving wife. Devoted agent. Acting prospects. Larry David has it all — so why is he still so intent on making a mess of his life? HBO presents Season 4 of the Emmy® Award-winning comedy series starring writer/producer/comedian Larry David. Each half-hour episode features verite-style footage of David (playing himself) at home, at work, and around town, as he gets into predicaments with fictional and real-life personalities. In Season 4, Larry brings his many quirks and neuroses to the stage after he is cast in a major Broadway production. Meanwhile, as their 10th anniversary approaches, Larry reminds Cheryl of a special "present" she promised him when they were engaged.

Larry David is essentially a genius, inventing a comedic TV Show that is a true mockary of his flaws and inperfections a an everyday individual. I just recently (about a few months ago) have been introduced to the HBO classic with the third season which I still consider to be the best season of Curb Your Enthusiasm yet (I've only seen seasons 3, 4 and 6 to date). In this particular season Larry gets an offer by comedic legend Mel Brooks to star in the long running broadway musical/comedy The Producers (which was adapted into a film in the late 1960s and was recently remade in 2005), Larry unhesitantly takes the offer and naturally gets into a heated feud with the majority of the cast and crew. The Seasons secondary storyline involves Larry's aniversary present with Sheryl giving him the ability to become disloyal and unfaithful to Sheryl only once in a couple weeks. This season is overall very well written and contains alot of humor however has a few flaws regarding a couple episodes. But from my perspective ranks to be nothing short of a decent piece of entertaining and brilliantly made season of comedy.

The best season of one of the best comedies on television has been released. If "The Car Pool Lane" doesn't convince you that Larry David is the real brains behind Seinfeld, nothing will!
  • a great moment in comedy writing.

What is with these people. Why in the world can't they provide these programs in the proper sequence. I've been waiting over a month for season three and what do they give me? Season four. I've been waiting even longer for season four of The Sopranos when both season five and six have been available for months already. They need to stop outsourcing to China. This is America. We read from left to right. I'm not some interdimensional being to whom the sequence of time has no meaning. We start at the beginning and finish at the end. I guess they just don't want my money because I'm not going to risk buying an incomplete product.
