Description

From coast to coast, nobody compares to Larry David when it comes to speaking one's mind, no matter the cost. Get ready for Larry's big return to NYC in Season 8 of this Emmy(R)- and Golden Globe(R)-winning comedy series in which Larry David stars as...himself! Each episode follows Larry as he lands in an insane variety of predicaments with both fictional and real-life personalities. In Season 8, as "Single Larry" continues to navigate the L.A. dating scene, a faulty alibi lands him back in his hometown of New York City for an extended stay--where he proves that faux-pas and character assassinations can occur just as easily in the Big Apple as in Hollywood.

  • HBO TOOK WAY TOO LONG!

I'm very upset that HBO took all of this time to release this season. Before with their previous releases, they would release these seasons about a month or so after season eneded. So far I have not purchased this season in protest. Perhaps I will find it another way. HBO, stop painting yourself in a corner and give the people what they want, when they want it. I'm boycotting this season on iTunes, which frustrates me because I love this show. Thank You HBO for upsetting one of your loyal customers. I know you don't care, but I do. I have options as to where I get my content.
  • Miss Cheryl!

While I'm very happy for Larry's new single life and the many stories that come from it, Cheryl was the 'straight guy' that every wacky comedian needs to illustrate their comedy more clearly. Larry has plenty of 'ordinary' people on the show but Cheryl grounded Larry and I think, made his character more believable. Besides, she had amazing comedic timing. Still, I loved this season and all it's new twists. Good job Mr. David!

Just when you thought Curb couldn't get any better, Larry David and crew go to NY....and it's more hilariously epic than ever. EVERY episode delivers, but, if cherry-picking is the only option to get your Curb fix--Palestinian Chicken, The Smiley Face and Mister Softee raise the bar on epic. TG4LD!

LARRY DAVID IS ONE OF THE FUNNIEST MEN ALIVE. HIS BRAND OF UN-P.C. HUMOUR HAS BEEN EXTRAORDINARY; FROM SEINFELD TO CURB, HE HAS A KNACK FOR CREATING COMEDIC GENIUS THAT MAKES YOU SQUIRM AS YOU BUST A GUT LAUGHING.

That is, you're either clever, witty, subtle, intelligent and well-read (in which case you'll get it) or an idiot (in which case you won't).
