Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team, Season 4

I love DCC: MTT and find watching the program motivating. It makes me want to get moving myself! I also have a lot of respect for the DCC ladies. They are amazing athletes! Some might find the focus on weight depressing. I enjoy the honesty of the DCC staff. Several times they stress that while a girl would look great for a member of the general population, the revealing uniform and rigors of her job requires an OVERLY toned body. These girls are professional athletes and their bodies need to reflect that. Yet at the same time, curvy, womanly bodies are preferred. This makes me feel that if I worked out that much, I could look that awesome too. The DCC organization promotes healthy, sustainable weight loss and maitenence, rather than the anorexic look of many celebrities. Often a training camp candidate is asked to take a year to adress her body issues safely. I also love the behind-the-scenes acess and the mild drama. It's addicting! But I couldn't give it 5 stars. Here's why: the episodes are different from those shown on tv. The soundtrack has been altered and the new choices often make no sense and are obviously not the music the girls are dancing to. In addition, some scenes have been cut. For instance, in the final episode the tour of the new Texas Stadium does not include the shot of the giant retractable glass doors and the team's first game day performance is cut short (the latter is UNACCEPTABLE!). Dear producers, why did you change the episodes from their presentation on the air? We fans are paying to be able to enjoy them over and over again, and you're giving us LESS than if we had taped it off the air for free? NOT cool! I would enjoy downloading the first two seasons as well, but not if they are altered!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS SEASON!!! The girls were gorgeous and the competition was intense! Definitely my motivator to either put on your prettiest face or get out and run... I see nothing wrong with that! My only question is, WHERE IS EPISODES 7 AND 8?!?!?

So...we are still waiting on chapter 7, are we going to have to wait for 8 too? Love the season though!

Ok its been 5 DAYS!!!!! Where is Episode 7????

This is the only reality show I can stand to watch. It's nice to watch a show where every other word is not "beep". I used to want to be a DCC when I was a kid and now after watching this show I have a lot of respect for the girls who make the team. It requires more than just a pretty face..a healthy, fit body and lifestyle, talent, media skills, and a great personality. It's not like the other squads where they go through finals and they're in. These girls are invited to training camp and still have to prove they've got what it takes. I am so glad they don't go for girls based solely on talent. The last thing anyone wants to see is a beautiful DCC uniform inhabited by giggly thighs, arm flab, and belly blubber. As Kelly said, "If I gave the uniform to everyone who wanted to be a cheerleader then this would not be the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders."

This show is damn entertaining. I can't force my bf to watch it for more than 3 minutes but I cant get enough. Being a person who has auditioned and danced for numerous dance troupes I find the situations real and the seriousness of it all very amusing. Dont take it too seriously but be prepared to be hooked.
