Getting On, Season 2

The dysfunctional staffers of the Billy Barnes extended care geriatric ward continue to fumble their way through dealing with the elderly in Season 2 of this offbeat comedy series. This year, Nurse Didi (Niecy Nash) fights for a long-overdue raise while facing new responsibilities and family stresses; Nurse Dawn (Alex Borstein) gets some big news about her future while remaining more set than ever on making a home with male Supervising Nurse Patsy (Mel Rodriguez), who is pushing his new 'Lean & Green' environmental program and letting the results go to his head. Meanwhile, ward director Dr. Jenna James (Laurie Metcalf) lets her newly promised research run amuck, and finds herself in bed with a corporate hospice program that begins to take over the ward.
