Sooooo underrated!! 🙌

District 9 is a much better science fiction movie than this because District 9 had disturbing images and gross scenes and it looks gorgeous. But Chappie isn't the new District 9 it's trying to be like a dark and violent robot sci-fi movie while the characters and locations all look dirty.

CHAPPiE is a wonderful movie. You make a bond with this humanoid machine so early on, and the bond never once falters. Making a visual machine humanly relatable is a big accomplishment, and with the action, story, and laughs to spare, this is nearly a must-watch. Biggest nitpick is its brief nudity; not the focal point of the camera angle, but brief and fairly visible toplessness. “Penis” graffiti may seem tasteless, but it does seem appropriate for the setting and isn’t graphic enough to be explicitly....well, explicit. Really wish there was a sequel, and I have no clue how this many reviewers “slept” through this great film.

Yet again a movie with somone that was former military playing a bad guy. Combign with a odd movie and a bunch of other stuff its a 3. Turn off the brain watch it when you get it with a bundle. It is also not a 5 movie or a 1. Tired of seeing rating where all these idiots know how to pick is a 1 or a 5 which should be rare for either.... ~BlizArmy

Waiting for the second great film.

Whats bad. - Plot full of holes. Acting bad on a new level. CGI effect look like reskinned left overs from district 9. Enough stink on this flim to spread it all around.

Disappointing. I thought it was going to be a movie about Ted Kennedy.

Honestly the worst movie I think I've ever seen. I'd rather watch the Incredible Hulk. The acting was awful and it seems like the plot was pasted together as they filmed the movie. Just awful.

I can see why some fans of his previous films don't click with this one. If you can go into it with an open mind and no expectations based on his previous two, you will enjoy it. It's not without its flaws (huge computing power leads to monumental discoveries but doesn't progress language skills beyond a certain base level???). It took me over a year to finally watch it, and I'm glad that I did.
