  • Where is Rio?

I second the comments made by others. The show is one of my all time favorites. But I will question whether I purchase any more full seasons. Episode 7 "Rio" aired on 10/15/12. It is now 10/19/12 and it still has not posted. All other episodes haven been available within 24 hours of it airing. What gives iTunes? Where is this episode? I paid for it!!

Where is RIO, which aired Monday October 15th and is part of his final tour?
  • iTunes is just painfully slow

Seriously, iTunes, what is the holdup with making shows available? This isn't the only show that I purchased where you can't view them for days still after the episodes air, so I know it isn't the show's production company or Travel Channel, etc. It is clearly an issue with iTunes and it makes me question whether I will be purchasing future series. I give the show itself FIVE STARS, but iTunes blows. When I pay for a season, I assume that it will be available in a reasonable time.
  • Why so slow?

So far it's an average season with a few good episodes and two re-hashed 'clip' episodes. Certainly Anthony hasn't 'saved the best for last'. Also, why does it take so long for the episodes to become available? If I chose to procure them by less scrupulous methods I would have them days earlier.
  • What a disappointment...

So far, two of the six shows have been phone-it-in re-edits of past shows. Nothing new, just "show me the money" video compilations. I never thought I'd see that from Anthony Bourdain, but I guess we can all go Republican when the money is flowing and the rubes are plentiful, It is a good thing it is the last season, because Tony doesn't even have the energy to do this last season. Seven deadly sins? The first should be ripping off your loyal fans, and the second, and the third, and so on.
  • Really lame!

I don't understand how an ex chef can describe a dish is, "Thats good" And "great only if you have been drinking all night". Probably because he can not taste food because he has spent so much of his life smoking. Also very strange to see a guy glamorizing drinking during the day. Really don't understand the popularity of this guy.
  • Finally!

Given the delay I was getting worried they wouldn't post this; it's a must for Bourdain fans to round out their 'travel channel' years with Tony. Looking forward to his future adventures with CNN...
