Description

Following the life and times of 'Nucky' Thompson, prohibition-era Atlantic City's undisputed czar, Season 3 picks up 16 months after the shocking events of Season 2. With the Roaring '20s about to really begin, the economy is booming, but alcohol is scarce and competition is fierce, which can mean only one thing: blood will be spilled. While Nucky deals with his sham of a marriage to Margaret, he faces a new competitor in the person of Gyp Rosetti (Bobby Cannavale) whose strategic bulkhead between NYC and AC threatens to siphon off Nucky's booze business...and bring out his violent side.

Both are amazing shows they both have great acting and writing but being that hbo has boardwalk empire they can charge whatever just because this show is on iTunes doesn't make it an apple product that being said I'm sure because people on here instead of doing something smart like accessing hbo go people gripe on here about the cost well that's what you get when you're a premium channel with no advertising except with in your tv shows look back at the sopranos with coke and other products its hard to have advertising with in a story that takes place in the 1920s it wouldn't make sense at all. Anyways this show is the next best thing when breaking bad is over. Long live Jesse pinkman.

Good show and fast download as always. This season's episodes had a tendency at times to kind of dwell, and it did get boring at times, especiLly compared to earlier seasons. Also it really is absurd the sense of entitlement many seem to have. They are under no obligation to consider your finances. It's also hard for me to believe someone who can afford a $300 iPad is outraged at a season of episodes that costs less than a single video game.

I love this series! See Ken Burn's mini series on Prohibition before you start watching to get a better understanding of the characters and what led to this.

Seriously it's crazy to rate a show bad because your upset that it costs too much!! That has nothing to do with ITunes. And HBO is a "Premium" channel and they have to make they're money somehow so why should they sell it for the same price as regular cable?? You guys are rediculous!! Oh yah,and top notch writing and directing and acting and an all around terrific show! Thanks to all involved! And thanks to ITunes for finally releasing it-and one day early at that. It came out on a Monday when we all know everything comes out on Tuesdays.

It will be $3.99 per episode in HD, not $2.99, so the exorbitant price is accurate...

Five stars for the show, one star for encouraging piracy by not releasing this in a timely manner. And then having the cheek to charge higher per-episode prices! Buy the blu-ray people; you'll get the HD digital copies through iTunes and you'll have re-saleable discs too...
