  • Great, a little softer and with a couple of wrong episode dates...

Great to finally have this in HD - although Paramount screwed people like me who bought the first 19 episodes expecting to be able to 'complete my season' as soon as the $59.99 price point was put up. It seems the $59.99 for Season 3 was an anomaly, not the norm... Still, great price for those who waited! As to the episodes themselves, they're softer than the previous three seasons, so whilst they look wonderful they're not as sharp on detail. Episodes from the first three seasons tended to be between 1.65GB--1.85GB each, whereas these are all between 1.46GB--1.59GB each. There are also a couple of wrong broadcast dates (due to typos) and so Legacy (actually episode 6) and Remember Me (actually episode 5) are in the wrong order since Legacy's broadcast date was October 29, 1990, not October 19, 1990. Also Clues is episode 14, not episode 12, since its broadcast date was February 11, 1991, not January 11, 1991. (The Wounded is actually episode 12 and Devil's Due is actually episode 13.) This is a bit of an oversight, with the only other wrong broadcast date being Haven from S1 - and the S1 premiere synopsis claiming the mission was "to bodily [sic] go where no one has gone before"!

There should be a special season with all the episodes with Q…
  • Quality lasts

When the show first was announced 1987, I waited with baited breath, but then was disappointed by the plot and characters of season one. Little did I know that the writing would be fixed, the quality of the actors would be allowed to shine through, I'd have a chance to cherry pick the best episodes (thanks, Jammer's Reviews!) and then 25 years later the whole thing would get a glossy sheen with HD remastering and new effects shots. So, in addition to just plain solid, thought provoking, generally uplifting entertainment, there's a real lesson here: start with quality foundations, don't give up, and polish, polish, polish your work - it will get appreciated in time. (Note: none of the kind words above applies to any of the Wesley-focused episodes.)

Thank You for adding HD, Please keep the seasons coming. Thanks again. By the way its cheaper to buy on blu-ray than to buy this whole season here. Really Expensive
  • Another Great Season

It’s another great season, full of episodes that will entertain you. Recently remastered in HD, from the original film masters & some new CGI for space scenes & special effects shots, like phaser fire, transporter sequences, & what else have ya, as common with the remastering of TNG & TOS. I’m pretty sure they’re gonna have the HD versions of the episodes up pretty soon. Remember people, this also happened with season 3’s release on here, so give it a few more days. So don’t worry.
  • Great Season

I love the next generation series and this season is a good one. Downsides: no HD, Netflix is cheaper
  • Not High Definiton?

Why isn't season 4 released on iTunes in high definition? It is already available in blu-ray, like seasons 1, 2, and 3. Seasons 1, 2, and 3 are available in high definition on iTunes. So why isn't season 4 available on iTunes in high definition?
